Halloween!!!

HALLOWEEN update in January!!! I have to be the worlds worst blogger. But here it is the cutest little pumpkin any of you have ever seen! For halloween we went trunk-or-treating for the ward and everyone had their trunks decorated all fun. Ashlyn was so cute. She couldn't figure out that people were trying to put candy in her bucket. She kept grabbing it from them and crying when we tried to take it from her to place it in her bucket. She was so cute!

I think this drooling picture is so cute/funny! But when mom and Candace saw it they didn't agree with me. This was Ashlyn's first sucker and she couldn't really figure out how to keep it all in her mouth. She's gotten a lot better since!

"Where did all my candy go?" That would be Dad who was "holding" it for her:) Let's be honest...halloween trick-or-treating isn't really for the kids. It's for the kids to do all the work collecting and for the parents to do all the work eating!

HALLOWEEN PARTY...

Of course we had a great halloween party this year. We sure love our parties. All my girlfriends came over to help set up the decorations and I must say we were very inventive, as we had to do this on a budget.

It was a great party... we had great friends...

Ashlyn's first Birthday!!!!

I can't believe that it has already been a year. Our sweet Ashlyn is 1 year old and is showing it. She doesn't look like that little infant girl anymore, but she gets more beautiful and more fun everyday. Some of the things that she is doing now...

She puts her treat up to your mouth like she is going to share, then she pulls it back and puts it in her own mouth. She thinks she is pretty funny!

She makes this funny "O" face. I don't know where she learned it but it is hilarious, and she does it for everything, whether she is surprised, happy, sad, mad, there's a different "O" for each one:)

She says "oh no" when I get out the diaper and wipes. (As a result of a diaper rash)

She is attempting to climbing on everything

She is walking everywhere. She kind of looks like an ape because she walks with her chest out, but she is just irresistably cute!!!

When we say night night, she waves and sometimes will wave and say ni ni on her own. Then she will wave all the way into her room and into her crib.

She is such a funny little girl and we are having so much fun with her! So here is the highlight of her first year of life!

It was a great summer. But we are looking forward to the fall and all the great family oriented holidays! It's my favorite time of year!!!
