I know that I am the worlds worst blogger, but I figured it was time that I update all my friends and family.

First, my kids...Oh what to say about my kids!!! Well, they sure keep me busy, which would the understatement of the century! Easton is 2 weeks shy of 9 months. He is a big boy, weighing in at about 21 lbs. At his last appointment he was in the high 90% across the board, except weight which was in the 60's. He is such a funny little boy, sweet, happy, silly, full of personality, and chill! He has been such an incredible addition to our little family. Ashlyn loves entertaining him, playing with him, and as you can see by the pictures below, terrorizing him!!! I caught her the other day putting stickers all over his face. The funny thing is he didn't seem to mind at all!!!

When I showed this picture to my mom she reminded me of when us girls would put berets in my brothers hair. How embarrassing for him that he would let us:) (love you spenc!)

Did I forget helpful in my description of Easton, silly me!!!

Ashlyn, oh so many things to say about Ashlyn. She is 2 1/2 years old, going on 16!!! She is a handful of sass, and she keeps me on my toes for sure. When I was telling my Dad how difficult this little girl could be, he tried to make me feel better by saying he went through the same thing with me. What a funny way to make me feel better, doesn't he know, no one is going to believe that I was a difficult child! Good try dad, better luck next time!

Ashlyn is beautiful, funny, full of life and personality. She is considerate when it comes to others. If anyone in our family isn't being nice to another, she will say in her motherly voice, "BE NICE HIM MOM" "BE NICE HIM DAD" "BE NICE (to) EASTON, MOM"! She is also sassy sassy sassy! She tells everyone what to do. She actually negotiated with me the other day. I said she couldn't have any treats because she wasn't listening. Then later I asked her to pick up her toys. She then said to me, "I pick my toys, eat my inner, I get treat, OKAY?" I though, if she was smart enough to negotiate her treats back, she could have them:) Such a funny girl!

Some of the things she says...
"C'mon mom", "C'mon Dad", "C'mon Easton"
"Chill out mom!" (credit to her father for that one!)
"I pretty" while she spins in a circle
Daddy: "is mommy pretty" Ashlyn: "nooo mommy not pretty" Mommy: (makes sad face) Ashlyn: "Ohhh iz okay mommy, iz okay!" Well that makes me feel so much better!
"You pay (play) me, mommy (or) daddy"
"You read me"
She says her name, "hashin"
While sitting in sacrament, in a loud voice, "I poop mommy" "I need to go potty" "wanna go church daddy"
"I miss you", when she wakes up from nap, comes out of her room after a tantrum, or when Gabe gets home from school
"Tickle my back" "tickle my legs in bed, OKAY" (this is one we hear very frequently) I wonder where she gets the need to be pampered from? It's a mystery to me?

We sure love her, she makes us crazy, and she also makes us laugh everyday. She makes our home exciting, no doubt about that!

Her favorite things to do...
read books
destroy her room
eat endless amounts of snacks
go to the park
play with friends
color
and bop hundreds of bubbles

As for Gabe and I, we are doing great. Gabe is busy with a heavy school load everyday. He is hoping to get a job at the golf course this summer. Unfortunately, Gabe has one little class he has to take this summer, so we will be here. He talked to a few advisors at the school a few semesters ago to figure out what classes he needed to take to graduate in April. To my dismay, they neglected one class. I am really learning that no matter how we plan, it doesn't always work out that way. Maybe the Lord has something different in store for us. So come July we're peacin' out. We are so looking forward to getting a job, hopefully sooner than later, and finding a house (as we are bursting at the seams) and moving on with life. As for now, we continue enjoying all our friends, and family around us. We are truly loving life, and so grateful for our beautiful children and the joy they bring to our lives.
