What's hiding in your Carpet?

Today was a good day! WE GOT OUR NEW VACUUM...worth every penny, and totally blog worthy if I do say so myself!!!!

THE DYSON BALL...
Isn't she beautiful? I feel like she should have a name:)

Gabe and I decided that it was time to get a new vacuum when we first noticed that our current vacuum struggled to pick up something as little as a spec of paper. Pathetic I know! I would vacuum the carpet with our Eureka

and still feel like our floors were dirty. I also thought of how disgusting it was to let our children lay on the carpet, and pick up toys off the floor and put them in their mouth, when the vacuum we have can't even pick up the lightest of particles!

SO... the moment I step through our door, I unwrapped my new little vacuum and put it together to began our little experiment. We decided to first vacuum our apartment with our Eureka, and then immediately after vacuum it with our new Dyson!

Below are the shocking results...

DYSON VS. EUREKA

No competition here...

Can you believe it? Filled to the max. I couldn't believe it myself. I'm pretty disgusted and a little embarrassed that these dust mites have been hiding in my carpet all this time. But I don't have to worry about that anymore. This machine is amazing, it even lifts your carpet up, making it look like my carpet has just been raked by the professional carpet cleaners. Gabe thinks it's a little crazy that I am so excited to have a new vacuum, secretly I think he's just as excited. But honestly, what stay at home mom wouldn't be excited to have new little toy that makes cleaning just a little more enjoyable.
