A week after Easter we had our Ward easter BBQ! Funny how that worked out. But the food was great and it actually turned out to be quite eventful. Our friends who were working the bbq were right by the door of the church and happened to set off the fire alarm. It would beep really loud and then through the speakers an automated man would ask everyone to please exit the building.
This was so funny because Ashlyn decided to join this other family while they were eating, then all the sudden I looked over and she was just sitting there by herself, lookin' around wondering where everyone went! Poor Girl!
15 min later the fire department showed. May I just say, excellent response time. It's a good thing that the whole church couldn't burn down in that amount of time:)
We even snuck Ashlyn in a picture with one of the firemen:) I think he scared her a little!
Dallin's Birthday Party
After the ward bbq we went down to Idaho Falls to have a surprise party at Red Robins for our good friend Dallin! Theme, flashback to young boy hood. I think everyone there thought this party was for a little boy, little did they know that little birthday boy was turning 24. We even had hats and those little party favors that you blow into and the paper rolls out.
How cute right? If this doesn't take you back to grade school birthday parties then I don't know what would!!!
Ashlyn didn't appreciate the special hat idea!
We even had a cake brought out to him! Doesn't he look so special in that hat:)
It was a success, he was completely surprised. We had a great time with all our friends.
