36 Weeks!

This is me at 36 weeks, only 4 more weeks to go:) Gabe and I are both getting really excited, and I think both a little nervous, even though we don't really talk about the nervous part. In fact, I try not to think about the delivery at all... just to keep myself sane and calm! At this point our little girl is about 6 lbs. and about 20" long from head to toe! And her mom, me, is carrying about 33 extra lbs! Yikes!!! I fully intend on getting rid of that ASAP! All i gotta say is...it could be worse! I have loved being pregnant and feeling a little baby inside of me, but I am also ready to have my body and my comfort back as well. So, needless to say, we are anticipating her birth. We don't have a name picked out yet which makes me a little nervous, but we do have a list and I am thinking that we need to wait and see what she looks like and hopefully one of the names on the list will stick out. Who knows...she might just be baby girl until we come up with something:) Hopefully it won't take us too long to decide!

The Cutest Baby Bag!

So Gabe and I decided to go shopping yesterday. He needed jeans and I needed a new dress since I have sort of outgrown all of mine, temporarily:( So as we were walking through sears to get to another store Gabe spotted this cute little baby bag. We didn't have one yet so Gabe showed it to me and I fell in love with it, and had to have it. I thought "It is only $30, thats not bad". So we decided to buy it and when we got to the checkout stand I was sitting down because my feet were killing me, and Gabe was checking out. Then I hear the lady ask Gabe if he wanted to sign up for the sears credit card and receive $15 off! Usually it is a percentage, which is way easier for me to resist! Then I hear the reply "no thank you"!!!! Are you crazy, thats 50% off! Gabe reminded me of the trouble that I got into before with signing up for credit cards to receive a discount on my purchases. Well, I decided I would be smarter this time. You see, the last few times that I did that, the problem wasn't that I was spending too much money on those cards. I thought I could just throw those cards away and it wouldn't matter. Well, it does. I tried to get a credit card with my bank, thats the only one that we have, and they wouldn't let me have one. I was blown away because I thought I had great credit. The problem wasn't my credit, it was that I had too many cards with available credit. So I learned that you have to cancel the cards when you get them. So, I disregarded Gabes warnings and signed up for the card. I don't know if this is the best thing, but I am on a savings spree and was very excited to only pay $15 for this cute little diaper bag!

Falls Adventures!!!

This last weekend we were somewhat desperate to get out of Rexburg and do something fun. So we decided to go see Mesa falls. Then that turned into seeing all the falls along the way. Some were worth it and some signs to falls took us on wild goose chases. So we left at about 12 pm and headed up to Mesa falls first, which was about an hour drive...

Upper Mesa Falls

Gabe and I...

Devin and Becky...

I wanted a picture with everyone in it so I put the camera on the edge of the railing and set the timer. No one thought that I would do it, or I should say they advised against it. But I did it and I think it was worth it!

Lower Mesa Falls

Becky and I at the lower falls

Then after Mesa Falls, we drove about 20 miles down a dirt road to get to Cave falls. None of us had ever been there so we decided to try it out. It was amazing there! I think it was definitely worth the drive. The funny thing about cave falls is that the cliffs that were above the cave fell down blocking the entrance to the cave. So we renamed it the caveless falls! I personally liked it better than Mesa Falls because we were able to be right next to the falls and hang out in the water. It was especially a hot day so that was a deal breaker for me!

Gabe wants to know....Can you spot the Bear?......
Neither can we!!!

After the falls we ended up going fishing at warm slough. On the first cast this is the fish that Gabe caught. He was pretty proud of himself.

Because the weather was so hot, my attempt to keep the worms alive and cool was to put them in the river. Well that wasn't the best idea because they started floating away. So Gabe ended up going in after his worms.

Becky gettin' the hang of fishing...

We ended up fishing at warm slough till about 7:30. Gabe caught the only fish of the night but we saw a lot of them jumping out of the river. But by the end of the night we were waisted and hungry so we all went home and ended the night with some taco bell and a good movie! It was a great Saturday!

BABY ROOM!!!

Well, Gabe and I finally were able to sell our futon, which means that we were finally able to have room to set up the crib. We are still a little crowded in that room but it is still cute!

I guess you actually only get to see the crib corner of the room because the rest of the room still has our stuff in it. I wish that we had a little garage to put our bikes and our seasonal things in. But we don't, so this is all you get to see for now:)

Q2 BBQ

So we got to Montana on July 24th, which was a friday, and it turned out that Mikel and Donna won the summer backyard BBQ. So we got to go to that and it was fun. The weather wasn't too hot, it was PERFECT! Here are some pictures from that...

This is me at 32 weeks!!!

I thought this was a cute picture of Sue, Donna, and my Mom

The Q2 guys.

Anyone who wanted to be on the news got to be! We left that to the missionaries and the kids:)

I want you all to notice Dad and Gabe's chairs...then notice all the normal size chairs all around them:) What were they thinking?

Mikel was at the grill. They had foot long hot dogs, and hamburgers, and potato salad. Not to mention that the dessert was very rich, delicious brownies:) It was sad for mom, dad and Candace because they were on a protein diet so Gabe and I ate for all three of them. Not that I need it, judging from the first picture on this posting!

I thought this was a cute picture. This is Tasha's little foster girl, Zephron. I don't really know how to spell her name, but she was cute.

Donna getting interviewed on the Q2 news.

Montana Baby Shower

July 25 I had a baby shower in Billings. Michel and Donna threw it for me at Michel's house, and there was a really great turnout. It was so fun to see everyone and I really appreciated all the support. We were able to get EVERYTHING that we needed.... what a relief!!! I can't tell you how grateful Gabe and I were to Michel and Donna for organizing everything and for everyone that came. I think that it makes it a lot more real to both Gabe and I to have everything that we need for the baby and to start setting it all up. Actually, I am a little behind on my blog, so 2 weeks later I actually have the whole baby room set up and I will post pictures at later time. Anyway here are the pictures of those that were there and SOME of the things that I got....

This was a book that my mom made. It has advice from other family and friends for me as a mom. Thank you to all that contributed. Its great because I think at this point I can take all the advice that I can get! Good luck to Gabe and I:)
